Belleville Area EMS provides emergency medical services to a community of over 5,800 people in the Village of Belleville, Township of Montrose, and portions of the Townships of Exeter, Oregon and Brooklyn.
Belleville Area EMS is a team of more than 35 dedicated EMS providers who serve the Belleville community and surrounding areas. We're always looking for new members interested in joining our department. We offer both volunteer and paid opportunities. Whether you're brand new to EMS, or have years of experience, we welcome you to apply for membership with our department. Belleville Area EMS Membership, Inc, is a 501c3 non-profit organization that supports Belleville Area EMS. Your tax-deductible donation helps support our mission of providing excellent pre-hospital emergency medical care to our community; by building community awareness of, confidence and pride in Belleville Area EMS, its staff and its capabilities; attract and retain talented, dedicated EMS staff through funding for supplemental improvements to our facilities, training opportunities and state-of-the-art equipment for our Members when these are otherwise beyond the EMS Districts ability to fund.
Belleville Area EMS Membership, Inc provides service to: - Belleville Area EMS by: funding the purchase of patient care equipment that allows our EMTs to do their job more safely and efficiently; funding projects to enhance delivery of emergency medical services and improve the usefulness of the Belleville Area EMS Station; as well as funding training opportunities for the Department Members and Leadership. - Belleville Area EMS Coverage Area by: providing EMT/AEMT scholarships; providing support to the community in a crisis or disaster situation; as well as providing public education at community events. - Belleville Area EMS Department Members by: funding training and team building opportunities for department members; express emotional support, encouragement, fellowship, whatever is deemed appropriate, for past and present members and/or their families who are experiencing tragic or trying times in their lives; as well as funding opportunities to support department members' physical and mental well-being.
